About Me

I am a theoretical astrophysicist and an assistant professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Institute for Astrophysics.

Originally from Israel (though having also grown up in the California Bay Area), I received my bachelors and masters degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I then obtained my PhD at Columbia University, and subsequently held a NASA Hubble (Einstein) Postdoctoral Fellowship and a Theoretical Astrophysics Center Fellowship at UC Berkeley, before arriving in Minnesota to start a tenure-track faculty position.
